Smooth Transitions of Nevada embodies the same compassion, professionalism and exemplary quality of the Smooth Transitions’ founder, Barbara H. Morris, who saw that there was an enormous need for a compassionate and professional transition when helping her own family move from home to independent living.

In 1995, Barbara took her 20 years of experience in the health care industry and brought that same level of compassion and professionalism to Smooth Transitions®. Since then, she has spread the Smooth Transitions® brand internationally. 

Her leadership and exemplary service has been recognized by the National Association of Senior Move Managers®, who presented
her with their most prestigious award, The Margit Novack Award of Excellence.

Bringing those same services with that compassion, professionalism and quality to Southern Nevada became a mission for the owner, Alison Rachiell. She and her team have trained, been background checked, and undergo continuous training in order to provide the best possible service to their clients. They are actively involved in the senior communities where many of their clients live, sponsoring events, holding seminars and supporting community events.

Recently, Smooth Transitions of Nevada became a sponsor of the national non-profit, Safe Moves for Seniors, providing resources to seniors who need to move due to their economic situation. 

The team at Smooth Transitions of Nevada helps seniors and their families during what can be a very difficult time.  We take the motto, “Same Heart. New Home” very seriously. Through listening, experience and each team member having the heart of a servant, they get the job done with the compassion, professionalism and exemplary quality they want everyone to be experience.
